Tuckeroo

A three pavilion structure located in the erosion zone of Byron Shire. The structure is designed to be removed in sections via the steel portal frames that make up the structure if the erosion line ever extends to the building line. The residence is designed to accommodate two families, one in each of the two-storey bedroom pavilions and the large single-storey pavilion is a common area consisting of dining and living areas. The structure has various external materials. The central courtyard has a Spotted gum pergola frame above and timber awnings surround the two-bedroom pavilions and the entry walkway divides the pavilions to arrive at the central courtyard. The awnings are supported on Spotted Gum posts. The living pavilion is clad with Spotted gum shiplap cladding boards.
