St Helena

Rammed Earth and Timber clad multi level residence set into the hillside above Byron Bay. The house has been excavated into a steep site creating a four level family home that is layered into the hillside. Each level has a rammed earth wall to the rear. Other materials used in this construction were hand laid stone, recycled bridge timbers and polished concrete floors. The roof cover is VM Zinc in standing seam profile.
